Dear Sandwich Elementary PTA Members,

​

We are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to each and every one of you as we embark on another exciting year at Sandwich Elementary! We're Lizz Bonino and Melody Way, and we have the honor of serving as your Co-Presidents for the 2024–2025 school year.

 

The Sandwich Elementary PTA is a vibrant and dedicated community of parents, teachers, and staff who come together to enhance the educational experience for our children. Our PTA’s efforts make a significant difference in our school, from organizing engaging events and enriching extracurricular activities to providing essential resources and support for our teachers and students.

 

This past year, we saw incredible achievements thanks to the collective efforts of our members. We successfully hosted the Boosterthon and Basket Raffle raising funds for Forestdale and Oak Ridge Elementary Schools, revitalized our teacher lounges, hosted a hugely successful teacher appreciation week that truly highlighted our gratitude for the hardworking staff at Sandwich Elementary, and sponsored family-friendly events including the Back to School Bash, Sugar Plum Fairy, Book Fairs, and End of School Year party. We also organized cultural events to enrich our children's school experiences, provided financial support for grade field trips and teacher grant requests, and much, much more. These accomplishments are a testament to the power of community and the positive impact we can make when we work together.

 

As we look forward to this year, our hope is to build on this momentum and continue to foster a supportive and enriching environment for our children. We are excited about the upcoming events, including our Back-to-School Bash, Book Fairs, Fun Run, the Harvest Festival, and many, many more. These activities not only provide joy and learning opportunities for our students but also strengthen the bonds within our school community.

We encourage each of you to get involved, whether by volunteering at events, joining one of our committees, advocating for your children, or simply sharing your ideas and feedback. Your participation and enthusiasm are the heart of our PTA, and together, we can make this year truly exceptional.
