Dear Sandwich Elementary PTA Members,

We are thrilled to welcome everyone back to school as we embark on another exciting year at both Forestdale and Oak Ridge! We’re Mary Beth Burwood and Casey Read, and we are honored to serve as your Co-Presidents for the 2026–2027 school year.

​

The Sandwich Elementary PTA is a vibrant and dedicated community of parents, guardians, teachers, staff, and supporters who work together to enrich the educational experience for all our children. From organizing engaging events and extracurricular activities to providing essential resources for our classrooms, our mission is to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students and teachers.

​

This past year was filled with incredible achievements, all thanks to the collective efforts of our amazing members. Together, we hosted the Fun Run; our key fundraiser that supports both Forestdale and Oak Ridge Elementary Schools. We celebrated our teachers and staff with a hugely successful Teacher Appreciation Week, and provided funding for field trips, cultural enrichment events, and grants, among many other initiatives. These accomplishments are a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together as a community.

Looking ahead, we’re excited to build on this momentum and continue creating a supportive, engaging environment for our children. We have some wonderful events planned this year, including our Back-to-School Bash, Book Fairs, another exciting Fun Run, and much more. These events not only bring joy and enrichment to our students but also help strengthen the connections within our school community.

 

We invite every one of you to get involved, whether by attending a monthly meeting, volunteering at events, joining a committee, advocating for your child, or simply sharing your ideas and feedback. Your participation and enthusiasm are the heart of our PTA, and with your support, we can make this year truly exceptional.
