Forestdale Scholastic Book Fair

The Forestdale Scholastic Book Fair is coming soon!

The fair will take place February 5th & 6th (NEW DATES AS OF 1/30 due to Sunday night snow storm) in the Forestdale Multipurpose Room and will be in-school shopping only. Fair hours are 9:30 AM–3:00 PM.

Students in PreK–2nd will find lots of great choices, including favorites like Gerald and Piggy, Dog Man, and so much more.

Families can add funds or learn about the convenient eWallet payment option using this link, or students may bring cash in a baggie or envelope labeled with their name and the words “book fair.”

We also need volunteers!

Setup will take place Wednesday, February 4 from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM during school hours.

How Digital E-Wallets work:

1. You go to the scholastic website and find the Forestdale book fair https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/forestdaleschool

   
   

2. Login or create an account for your student

   
   

3. Add funds to their account knowing that most books run in the $3 - $20 range

   
   

4. When your student walks into the book fair they will be given a slip with the dollar amount they have on their account to spend and a barcode

   
   

5. The student will shop with the help of trusty volunteers and teachers who help them stay within budget. You can sign up to become a volunteer here --> Sign Up Genius Link

   
   

6. Students will take their book(s) to the checkout with their slip where the barcode will be scanned. Remaining funds will stay on your account for future book fairs or online shopping

   
   

7. Your student has a new book to take home and a great memory of shopping with their friends and classmates!
