How it works: For a limited time, the Multi Purpose Room transforms into a pop-up bookstore, filled with the latest and greatest books for kids of all ages. From bestselling series to STEM-focused reads, picture books, graphic novels, and activity kits, there's something for everyone. Students get to browse, make wish lists, and take home books they're excited about. Why is the Book Fair So Important? The best part.... every purchase directly benefits our school! When we choose to receive our earnings as Scholastic Dollars (and we do!) we double our spending power in the Scholastic Dollars Catalog. That means:
More books for classrooms and the library
Educational resources to enhance student learning
Furniture and supplies to improve our school spaces
The more successful our fair is, the more Scholastic Dollars we earn.
Plus - it's one of the most memorable experiences students have of their entire school year. (This is according to the 2023-2024 Integrated Pre-School students in Ms. Vena's class at their end of year celebration.) How You Can Help A Scholastic Book Fair is powered by volunteers! Whether you can help set up, assist students, run the register, or clean up, every effort makes a difference. Plus it's a great way to be part of a fun, book-loving community!
