Exciting News from the Forestdale School Lending Library!

The long-awaited Forestdale School Lending Library is now a reality—thanks to the funding from the Sandwich Elementary PTA and the integral efforts by the Forestdale DEIB committee! Led by dedicated teacher, DEIB chair and PTA member Joanne Saunders, this initiative has officially launched phase one, with a curated collection of books now available for school staff to enjoy and make use of. This project has been a labor of love, and its successful launch marks a meaningful step forward in fostering a love of reading throughout our school community.

Looking ahead, phase two will open the Lending Library to families, further expanding access to engaging and diverse reading materials. The PTA is proud to support this effort, and we’re excited about future opportunities to grow the collection.
