When you join the Sandwich Elementary PTA, you are joining a community that encourages student achievement by strengthening the link between families and school; together we can make a difference. Anyone can join the PTA: moms, dads, grandparents, teachers, friends, and supporters are all welcome! We encourage everyone to get involved!
One of the best ways to be involved with your child's education is to volunteer. When you volunteer for the Sandwich PTA you are working for the benefit of your children, your school, and your community. Volunteering can be as simple as sending in items for an upcoming event, working a few hours at the book fair, or simply making copies. If you're looking to make a bigger commitment, you can help organize an event or volunteer in the library or the art history program. However you decide to help out, you and your child can take pride in your contribution and the knowledge that none of what we do is possible without you!

Interested in Volunteering?
Joining the PTA doesn't commit you to any volunteering, but it is a great way to get involved in the school and with your children's education. Your level of participation is totally up to you. You can attend meetings, take on an executive board position, volunteer to run a committee, help out at an event, or all of the above.
