What Does It Mean to be a PTA Member?
When you join the Sandwich Elementary PTA, you are joining a community that encourages student achievement by strengthening the link between families and school; together we can make a difference. Anyone can join the PTA: moms, dads, grandparents, teachers, friends, and supporters are all welcome! We encourage everyone to get involved!
Join or renew your membership for the upcoming school year to support programs, events, and grade-level grants that provide opportunities for our children. Becoming a member does not commit you to volunteering or other activities; it allows you to be a part of the school community in a different way, and vote for what is important to you and your child(ren) at our meetings. Interested in Volunteering?
Joining the PTA doesn't commit you to any volunteering, but it is a great way to get involved in the school and with your children's education. Your level of participation is totally up to you. You can attend meetings, take on an executive board position, volunteer to run a committee, help out at an event, or all of the above. Volunteer opportunities include but are not limited to….

If you're looking to make a bigger commitment, you can help organize an event or volunteer in the library or the art history program. However you decide to help out, you and your child can take pride in your contribution and the knowledge that none of what we do is possible without you!
